Once it is accepted, as it must be, that the proviso does not apply to this matter, the requirement that an adopted child may inherit under a trust deed if it “clearly conveys the intention that property shall devolve upon the adopted child” falls away. It falls away in the same way as when the trust deed is executed after adoption.
