Trial Court convicted the accused for the said offence and sentenced him to life imprisonment. The judgment of the Trial Court is confirmed by the High Court. the origin and genesis of the prosecution is shrouded in mystery; the prosecution has tried to improve its case from stage to stage. Hence, benefit of doubt will go in favour of the accused. Accused acquitted.
